An Angier man is accused of harboring a fugitive. Joseph Graham Vaughan Jr. was arrested for allegedly helping a woman evade arrest.
Johnston County authorities had been looking for 27 year-old Britney Dawn Allen of Willow Street, Angier to serve her with warrants for a July 24th burglary on Old Fairground Road outside of Benson. Deputies allege Vaughan, 28, of Black Pine Lane, helped Allen elude apprehension.
Both Vaughan and Allen were located and arrested Wednesday morning. Allen was served with several warrants including burglary, larceny, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, and possession of stolen property. Her bond was set at $112,000. Vaughan was charged with felony harboring a fugitive, probation violation, non-payment of child support, and for failing to appear on a larceny charge. His bail was set at $98,834.
