A Smithfield area church has been targeted by thieves twice three months.
On Monday, a member of the Lanwood Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, located at 3056 Buffalo Road, Smithfield reported that someone had stolen five parking blocks from the parking lot. The heavy cement blocks were valued at $100.
In June, someone broke into a storage shed at the church stealing a push lawnmower valued at $200.
Both incidents were reported to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
