Over $11,500 in items were stolen during a residential break-in last week.
A Princeton couple reported their home on Massey Holt Road had been broken into between 1:00 pm and 5:15 pm last Wednesday. Johnston County deputies said a side door was forced open to the home and a large amount of property was stolen.
The victim returned home and discovered the side door open and items inside the home scattered about. They quickly exited the home and called 911.
Among the items reported missing were 5 firearms, $2,200 in cash, binoculars, a laser, class ring, and keys. The items were valued at $11,540.
