Johnston County sheriff’s deputies made two drunk driving arrests during traffic stops Thursday.
Around 3:50pm, an officer stopped a car on Cabin Bar Drive near Clayton near the drivers home. David Micah Porr, 43, of Cabin Bar Drive, was arrested for driving while impaired. Porr reportedly registered 0.22 on the breathalyzer, nearly three times above the legal limit of 0.08.
Just before 9:00pm, a deputy was on routine patrol in the 8200 block of Cleveland Road and stopped a vehicle. The driver, Shari Murner Leon, 48, of Deer Hunter Court, Garner was arrested for DWI. Authorities said Leon registered 0.17 on the breathalyzer.
