Authorities are searching for a suspect wanted for a stabbing during the peak of Hurricane Matthew.
Deputies said the 25 year-old victim was at his home on Richardson Road in northern Johnston County when he was stabbed by an unknown assailant. The victim said he stepped outside his home and the suspect approached, stabbed him three times with a knife then fled. The victim, who was seriously injured, was unable to give officers a description of the assailant.
The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of wounds to his arm and back.
